We tried hiking 3 days to Britain's most remote pub - The Old Forge, Knoydart

On the West coast of the Scottish Highlands is the Knoydart peninsula, often referred to as Britain’s Last Wilderness. Knoydart contains the UK’s most remote village, Inverie. And, within Inverie, there is a pub, the Old Forge - Britain's most remote pub.

We chose to walk there, a treacherous route through the mountains of over 50km, arguably the world’s longest and most dangerous walk to a pub. This would be a long way, for a pint.

Please note - the four of us are experienced hikers with thousands of hours spent in wild terrain since we were young.

We went as a group, with a well prepared plan, satellite phone and a lot of equipment. Be safe out there.
