I tried trail running with GB athletes (Lake District)

Trail running with GB athletes at Wasdale Head in the Lake District.

A great spot for hiking, we chose to run a 19km route that took us from Wastwater up the shoulder of Great Gable, over to Kirk Fell, followed by Pillar, Scoat Fell, Red Pike and finally, Yewbarrow. With views over to Scafell Pike, this was an incredible experience, though also absolutely shattering. Great to finally do a touch of van life in Wrynose Pass in the JOG ON van.

Thank you to Claire, Louise and Graham for joining me on this adventure, what gifted and hardworking runners they all are. Fell running or trail running in the Lake District can be a wonderful experience, plan ahead, stay safe and JOG ON.
